A new item of Favorite Co.,Ltd.'s soft model line.

I sculpted the original model of this toy with supervising by a paleontologist Keiichi Takahasi, Lake Biwa Museum.

 

My work Inostrancevia was adopted as a permanent exhibition of Kuzuu Fossil Museum.

This Inostrancevia was my private work.
I repainted it for exhibition at the museum.

Giant cephalopod "Ammonite" from Mysterious Island(1961). I sculpted the original model of this toy. This year, Japanese sexagenary cycle is sheep.
The name of Ammonite came from Egyptian god Ammon that has horns like sheep.

The meeting of Fossil Research Society Japan.

On 15th-16th Nov. I participated in The meeting of Fossil Research Society Japan. I did examination of a picture contest of sea cow discovered in Nagaoka, dinosaur reconstruction workshops for kids, and a presentation on making of reconstruction model of sea cow Hydrodamalis.sp of the Nagaoka Municipal Science Museum. I sculpted the 1/10 scale model of it.And then, Studio Toriado made the full-size model by increasing the 1/10 model to ten times. https://www.facebook.com/hirokazu.tokugawa/posts/698292696879227
In the meeting, Hitoshi Furusawa,(Sapporo Museum Activity Center) and Keiichi Takahashi(Lake Biwa Museum) had presentations on their study.
Furusawa is the supervisor of the Hydrodamalis model.

A small exhibition at National Museum of Nature and Science Tokyo

Dinosaur hall of National Museum of Nature and Science Tokyo is closed and under renovation now. During the period, there is a small exhibition of dinosaur, and my works(Triceratops, Lambeosaurus, and Pachycephalosaurus) are exhibited too. This exhibition is till end of June 2015.
