Copepteryx(Plotopteridae)(2011 )

Copepteryx

 































This model was made for the special exhibition of  The Mizunami Fossil Museum in this summer.
I sculpted this work with the supervision of  Hiroshige Matsuoka(Kyoto university), a researcher of  fossil birds.

Usually, Plotopteridae had been expressed look like to penguin. But this time, we attempted to reconstruct as the style of Pelecaniformes.
