Modeling Triceratops extra

Modeling Triceratops.

Extra
I painted the model by acrylic paint.
The acrylic paint I used is not commodity in the hundred-yen(0.8 US dollar) store. So I introduce this painted model as extra.
The last finish, put gloss on the eye by manicure gloss cort. Manicure gloss cort is sold in the hundred-yen store.

Modeling Triceratops finish

 Modeling Triceratops.

Sculpting dinosaur Triceratops by hundred-yen(0.8 US dollar) store materials and 10-20 minutes per a day. No using metal wire and glue.
The modeling is finished.
The length 18cm.
This modeling method is based on the method I used when I was a junior high school student.
This example model are finised only the left harf side. For making right half side, please refer the articles from 9th day article. So It use about one month for making the whole body.
About coloring
Acrylic paint or poster color are good for the coloring.
Recently acrylic paint and poster color are sold in the hundred-yen(0.8 US dollar) store.

Modeling Triceratops 20-21


Modeling Triceratops.

20-21th day
Carve the scales on the skin. At first, wet the clay a little to make soft the surface of clay. Next, carve the scales by the tip of spatulas.
After dried the clay, remove shavings by brush. And then stroking the scales by wet brush to smooth the scales shape.

Make the slack and wrinkles on the skin of then neck and shoulder.

Make the fingers of front foot and leg. From this day, the modeling progress only on the left side.

Attach the right front foot to the trunk by clay. Make the scapula shape by clay. Make the neck.

Attach the lower jaw to the upper jaw by clay. Attach the left front foot to the trunk by clay. Make the scapula shape by clay.
